Sri Sarada Math Rasik Bhita started providing the Computer and Spoken English training for girl students under EST&P (Employment through Skills Training and Placement) component of NULM. Under this scheme, Rasik Bhita has completed providing the online training to 24 number of students of the Kamarhati Municipality as per the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Urban Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NULM) of the Govt. of India and 19 number of students of South Dumdum Municipality. At present online training of two batches under Kamarhati and Khardah Municipality is under way.

The library at Dum Dum Park caters to women members only, and has a wide selection of books that would interest readers across skill levels. The library is well maintained, with borrowing facilities, and a librarian present at all hours to guide or assist members in choosing books. The reading room atmosphere is conductive to uninterrupted hours of study.This well-equipped e-library has books and periodicals for competitive exams like SSC,Joint Entrance, Banking Examinations etc. along with text books.It also has books on Ramakrishna Vedanta Literature and other literary works.

Generous corporates have, through their Corporate Social Responsibility programs, provided invaluable training to our students,making them industry- ready. Tata Consultancy Services, M-Junction, Intelenet Global Services, in collaboration with Rasik Bhita, conduct free training to enable our students to find gainful employment.

Vivekananda Computer Centre was started under the guidance of Rasik Bhita at Village- Kumrogodi (near Singur) in Hooghly district.

Students coming from economically challenged families, are being taught Microsoft Office by teachers from their locality who have been
trained at Rasik Bhita in MS-Office and Communicative English.

With the launch of Vivek Jagriti project, Spoken English classes are also being conducted for these students once a week through video-conferencing.

Technology advancement has enabled to extend our online Communicative English courses to places outside West Bengal:

• Ramakrishna Sarada Mission, Pangot, Uttarakhand
• Sri Sarda Math, Valsad, Gujarat

It is to be noted that a student from London has also enrolled herself with the courses of Rasik Bhita.

Integrated computer courses that train students in basic computer software like MS Office, as well as specialized programs for graphic design, website design, animation, financial accounting and software programming.

Cultural heritage classes are conducted for the students on the first Sunday of every month.

Monastic members as well as HR personalities take classes on a regular basis on the lives and teachings of Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Sarada Devi, Swami Vivekananda and Sister Nivedita. The rich culture and heritage of India and various other topics, like ‘Science of Human Excellence’ are also discussed to bring about a holistic development of the students. These classes are made more interesting by the help of audio-visual aids. The students are also encouraged to practice meditation so that they can concentrate more and are able to lead a stress-free life.

Examination :
Every student has to appear for the Cultural Heritage Examination (Full Marks – 50) along with the examination of Computer and Communicative English.

The institute helps the students to find suitable jobs after completion of the course. Many of them have been absorbed by various reputed institutes and companies in different fields viz. DTFJ multimedia, designing, CAD, accountancy, sales, teaching, front office management, data entry operation etc. Students are given opportunity to get real-life experience by working as trainees in renowned companies. In the last few years, different companies have conducted campus interviews at Rasik Bhita. Some of the companies where our students are presently working are TCS, IBM, Wipro, Aditya Birla Group, Tech Mahindra, Direxions Marketing Solutions, HDFC Bank, Nandi & Associates, QConnect Business Solutions,Maruti Car Services, Gipidi Box, Ujjivan, Creative Mind, HDB financial services, Netscribes, Triple A Solutions, Kiswok Industries Pvt. Ltd. and others.

Even during the pandemic our students were successfully placed in 55 renowned companies. It has been possible due to the combined effort of students, teachers and staff. This is training translated into action.

The Annual Day is celebrated every year with a prize distribution ceremony presided over by eminent personalities, followed by the release of the annual magazine, and a cultural program. A play is staged by the students of the institute with great interest and passion. The day also sees the presentation of Sri Sarada Math Rasik Bhita’s annual report before the audience.

This is an independent project conducted by students where they get opportunity to hone their design skills by making posters,writing pads, bookmarks and greeting cards under the banner of Sri Sarada Math Rasik Bhita Chhatrimangal’, a student’s co-operative. The products designed by the students are sold by the students themselves in the stalls put up at Sri Sarada Math on the occasion of the birthday of Sri Ramakrishna Dev and Sri Sarada Devi and at Belur Math on the occasion of the birthday of Sri Ramakrishna Dev. Chhatrimangal has permanent outlets at Vivekananda Bhavan, Dakshineswar and Golpark.

Sri Sarada Math-Rasik Bhita is providing monthly pecuniary help (starting from October 2020) to 15 needy students who are facing financial crisis due the pandemic. Educational help for monthly Data Recharge (starting from November 2020) is also given to 13 students of Sri Sarada Math-Rasik Bhita and 11 students of Ramakrishna Sarada Mission Sister Nivedita Girls’ School, Baghbazar, to enable them to attend the online classes. 3 old PCs were given free to students at Dakshineswar and Kumrogori, Hooghly to continue online training.
