On 8th Dec, 2010, Smt.Lipika Phani, a retired IT professional of IBM from Bangalore discussed her IT-career and the techniques adopted by her to face different situations with the students. Nearly 60 students benefited from her valuable guidance and counseling.

2. Distribution of certificates to TCS trainees and candidates from Bally Municipality
TCS Ltd with Sri Sarada Math – Rasik Bhita has organized free training on English Communication and Corporate Etiquette for all graduates esp.BPL, SC, ST students since August 2010, and till now 28 trainees have been absorbed into TCS-BPO from Rasik Bhita. A short ceremony was organized to distribute the Certificates of Participation to the participants of the first three batches on 27th Feb, 2011. Most Rev. Pravrajika Ajayaprana Mataji, President, Ramakrishna Sarada Vedanta Society of NSW, Australia kindly agreed to grace the occasion and distribute the certificates to the participants. She also distributed certificates to BPL students of Bally Municipality, (SUDA scheme & KUSP, Govt. of West Bengal. At the end of the ceremony she addressed the students on the topic “Science and Religion” and stressed the importance of thinking for the younger generation. Shri Arunabha lahiri, Chairman & Shri Hazra, Ex-Chairman , Bally Municipality and Smt. Sreemayee Chakraborty, Manager (CSR), TCS Ltd., were present in this function & delivered short speeches.

3. Participation of students in the procession from Sri Sarada Math to commemorate 175th Birth Anniversary of Sri Ramakrishna
To commemorate the 175th Birth Anniversary of Sri Ramakrishna, a colourful procession was organized by Sri Sarada Math on 8th March,2011 to visit the various places sanctified by the visits of Sri Ramakrishna, in and around Dakshineswar. Students of Rasik Bhita enthusiastically participated in the procession singing devotional songs and holding posters of Sri Ramakrishna.

4. Inauguration of paintings on Sri Ramakrishna & Rasik
As a part of the concluding ceremony to celebrate the 175th Birth Anniversary of Sri Ramakrishna, three paintings of Indian Style (Water Colour) by Sri Ajay Kumar Ghosh, Ex HOD, Govt. Art College, depicting the incidents related to Sri Ramakrishna and Rasik, which took place at this sanctified place were inaugurated by Rev. Amalaprana Mataji, General Secretary, Sri Sarada Math & Ramakrishna Sarada Mission on 15th March, 2011. On this occasion, most Revered Bhaktiprana Mataji, President, Sri Sarada Math & Ramakrishna Sarada Mission also visited Rasik Bhita on 16th March. The paintings portray the following: 1) Silent Revolution : Sri Ramakrishna cleaning Rasik’s house with his long hair in the dead of night to banish the pride of being a Brahmin. It was indeed a silent revolution to eradicate the curse of untouchability and caste system prevalent in the society at that time. 2) Friend of Poor : Sri Ramakrishna talking in a friendly manner to poor and simple Rasik standing in the courtyard of Rasik’s house. 3) Divine Grace : Sri Ramakrishna had promised Rasik Eternal Salvation — Rasik having the vision of Sri Ramakrishna at the time of his passing away.
